The police are only "considering" bringing a criminal prosecution against him.

Unbelievable! Heads in stand again. Police need investigating as well.

For a borough where only 34% are bangladeshi muslim, 100% of his cabinet is.

He has never appointed any non-Muslim to any cabinet post and has no non-Muslim councillors.

Re: Rahman Gone in Tower Hamlets
Lutfur Rahman is no Islamist. He merely used some people who are borderline "Islamists" [a word that can mean a lot of different things] to gain power.

As Gavros accurately stated, there are Muslims who believe that voting is haram i.e. forbidden. Those people are closer to being "Islamists" as they consider any voting in a non Islamic state to be sinful... the fuckwits.

What a shock. Ken Livingstone has come out with these comments:

"Outside the Royal Courts of Justice in central London, Biggs said the ruling was “a victory for honest politics”.

However, Ken Livingstone, the former London mayor, said he was “distinctly uncomfortable” with a court’s ability to remove an elected mayor. “If there is any illegality, then surely that’s a matter for the police.

“I’m uneasy that a mayor who has taken on the political powers in a borough can be removed by someone who is essentially a bureaucrat. What I don’t understand is why he [Mawrey] found evidence of corruption that the police have so far failed to identify,” he said."

What an unbelievable utter cunt that man is.

Islamist is a pointless term. All muslims believe in all of the Koran, and take abrogation into account. These are the unaltered words of God after all.

Following West Ham is a wierd religion by itself mate!

Gavros 12:01 Fri Apr 24
Re: Rahman Gone in Tower Hamlets
Indeed brother. Of course this is proven by the fact that there are little known parts of the Koran that demand you follow west ham, know about boats, and have in depth knowledge about the Olympic stadium.

Salaam.

You seem to know your stuff gav. Your not one are you?

Gavros 11:52 Thu Apr 23
Re: Rahman Gone in Tower Hamlets
Well its about the bits you choose to adhere to versus those that you don't.

There are distinct parts of the koran/ hadith concerning the meccan and medinan periods, the meccan (early) being the early parts when the religion wad trying to establish itself amongst others which is more peaceable and inclusive and the medinan (later) being when the followers of Mohammed became increasingly antagonistic and belligerent to others. You can read up on the difference of the two easily. The point for Islamists is that the later parts abrogate (overwrite) the early ones, which is also in a few passages of the scripture too. It is this difference that leads to the usual fundamental misunderstandings of the religion.

Re: Rahman Gone in Tower Hamlets
So Islamiists are pure Koran believing Muslims but other Muslims are watered down versions.

So how do you tell an Iislamist. White dress for Men and Niquabs for women? Confused by them really.

There are actually twats commenting in the Standard defending this bloke saying he's Innocent

Gavros 11:09 Thu Apr 23
Re: Rahman Gone in Tower Hamlets
Not really 1964 son.buys a catcher term that covers salafists, wahhabists and others who believe in a pure interpretation of the koran as originally preached, rather than what it morphed into in various forms to take account of modernity. One example is that an Islamist refuses to vote, because doing so validates the political system and man made law rather than the shariah, which has been dictated by Allah.

Re: Rahman Gone in Tower Hamlets
What is this term Islamists?

Are they just Muslims.

Frankly I thought it was an invention of the PC brigade including the BBC.

Gavros 10:22 Thu Apr 23
Re: Rahman Gone in Tower Hamlets
Good stuff.

Still Rahman and his mates are just corrupt cunts

Even better is that the Islamists in our midst's are staging demonstrations telling Muslims its unislamic to vote (well it is in a way as shariah is the only true law). About 50 of them down east ham high street on Wednesday.

This is great news.

Re: Rahman Gone in Tower Hamlets
The judgement is class:

338 At this point I shall return to Councillor Shahed Ali. He was registered at two addresses in the Whitechapel Ward. Two polling cards were issued and, on polling day, two people turned up at the WH3 polling station and voted – for Mr Rahman. Now one can quite understand the dilemma of the police. In order to charge someone with an offence, there must be evidence that points to that offence. Unlike civil proceedings where one may plead a case in the alternative, the criminal prosecutor must be able to put forward a case that has a realistic prospect of conviction. Charge someone with offence A, it may well be a complete defence for him to say ‘Ah, but I was committing offence B: I am innocent of offence A’ and, with some exceptions, to be acquitted.

I believe that he can't stand again now he's been found guilty, unless he wins any appeal.

Re: Rahman Gone in Tower Hamlets
So Rahman the first Mayor with a budget of a billion a year thrown out accused of corruption.

On St George's Day.

Interesting.

23.4.2015

23.4

2 x 4 = 8 + 3 = 11

2015

2 x 5 = 10 -1 = 9 - 0 = 9

9 11

Therefore the people who got Rahman thrown out on St George's Day also committed 9/11 and are leaving signs for the enlightened to find.
